Billy Seiber passed from this life on August 17, 2016 at Life Care Center in Maury County.
He was the son of the late Tom and Gladys Bates Seiber. Born on May 29, 1939, he retired as a factory worker and was known for his welding ability. He loved to game hunt, but fishing was his passion. He spent the first few years of his life on Seiber Ridge in the western part of Lewis County and almost exclusively lived his entire life in Lewis County. He attended Buffalo Valley School and Lewis County High School.
He is survived by sons, Jerry (Janet) Seiber of Columbia and Dewayne (Scarlett) Seiber of Smyrna; daughter, Samantha (Bill) Spurgeon of Hohenwald; brother, Bobby Seiber of Upsilanti, Michigan; sisters, Dean Manley of Sylacauga, Alabama, Lorene Parker of Centerville, Grace Reeves of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kerry Seiber; and sister, Tommie Jean Wiss.
He made his final arrangements years ago. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
