Cost Share Funds Available

 

The Lewis County Soil Conservation District has cost share funds available from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture’s (TDA) Agricultural Resources Conservation Fund (ARCF).  Up to 75 percent of the cost of installing conservation practices on agricultural land is available.

Practices eligible are cropland conversion, winter cover crops, fencing for rotational grazing and livestock exclusion from streams, water facilities for rotational grazing, diversions, critical area treatment and others as approved by the TDA regional watershed coordinator.
