The City of Hohenwald Gas Department will be hosting their annual Disaster Preparedness and Response Seminar on Tuesday, September 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the Lomax Christian Service Center located at 320 Darbytown Road.
The purpose of this seminar is to help educate the citizens of our town about disaster preparedness and surviving the aftermath should a disaster happen in our town. Citizen participation is needed in order for the program to be effective and everyone is encouraged to attend.
The speaker will be Danny Spencer, an extremely knowledgeable and amusing speaker.
Some of the scenarios this year are: Environmental Disaster (tornado, flood, earthquake); Terrorist Attack; Financial Collapse; Family Plan.
Refreshments will be served and open discussion is encouraged.
