Howard Noah Luther Reeves, age 84, formerly of Hohenwald, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at his residence in Northville, Michigan.
Funeral service was held Monday, November 14, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home with Jerry McDonald and Coy Reeves officiating. Burial followed in the Deavers Cemetery.
Born April 24, 1932 in Hohenwald to the late Homer Ernest Reeves and Willie Lucille Thompson Reeves, Mr. Reeves was a retired police officer for the City of Northview. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Fay Bolton Reeves; three sons, Dennis Reeves, Douglas Reeves (Maureen) and Duane Reeves (Linda); one daughter, Lorenda Baber; four sisters, Loudean Stephens, Wilma Bryant, Wanda Creasy (Johnny), of Hohenwald and Margaret Stowe of Lexington; one brother, Oscar Reeves (Martha), also of Hohenwald; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carlton Reeves.
