Jean Adair, 89, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2016 in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel with Greg Duncan officiating. Burial followed in the Swiss Cemetery.
Mrs. Adair was born November 5, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to the late Claude S. Duncan and Nancy Ora Lynch Duncan.
She was survived by two sons, Danny Adair (Clara) of Nolensville and Randy Adair (Debbie) of Wake Forest, North Carolina; two sisters, Beck Klinger of Columbia and Anita LaRue of Hohenwald; granddaughters, Susan Holden (Randall) of Smyrna, Starla Shelton (Russ) of Nolensville and Sharon Adair of Raleigh, North Carolina; grandson, Ben Adair of Waynesville, North Carolina; great grandsons, Jeremy Goodman of Smyrna and Jaxon Parham of South Carolina; and great granddaughter, Janie Mrayan (Zach) of Murfreesboro.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adair was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Adair and, daughter, Glenda Adair Tharp.
