Jimmy Dale Cothran, 74, of Hohenwald, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at his home.
He was born on August 26, 1944 to Jess Cothran, Jr. and Eunice Skelton Cothran who preceded him in death. He lived in Hohenwald all of his life. He was married to his best friend, Bonnie Russell Cothran, for 43 years. He worked as a supervisor for Tennessee Department of Transportation.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Cothran; son, Chad Cothran; two daughters, Lisa Fransen of Hohenwald and Tanonni Garner (David) of Columbia; sister, Shelia Clay of Hohenwald; granddaughters, Jessica Fransen and Fayth Layne; and grandsons, Logan and Ethan Fransen and Xander Garner.
Funeral service was held on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Salem Church of Christ in Hohenwald with Joe Griner and Johnny Clayton officiating. Burial followed in the Jimmy Cothran Family Cemetery on his farm.
McDonald Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
