LCMS Panthers taste defeat

The Lewis County Middle School Panthers traveled to E.A. Cox December 6, 2018 for competition against the Cougars. The Panthers were defeated 56-40.

Kyle Holcomb lead the Panthers with 11 points, 1 assist and 9 rebounds, followed by Dyer Barnes with 9 points, 4 rebounds and 1 steal. Others scoring were Austin Hicks with 7 points, 1 assist and 8 rebounds; Wyatt Bosheers, 5 points, 2 assists and 2 steals; Bryson Clayburn 3 points, 1 assist, 2 rebounds and 1 steal; Sloan Moseley, 3 points, 1 assist, 5 rebounds and 3 steals and James Azcarate, 2 points and 1 rebound.

The Lady Panthers lost their contest against the Lady Cougars, 30-15. No stats were available.

The Panthers hosted E.O. Coffman November 29, losing 47-34.

Barnes was lead scorer with 14 points, 4 assist, 2 rebounds and 1 steal. Holcomb added 7 points and 7 rebounds, Clayburn, 5 points, 2 assists and 1 steal, Moseley, 4 points, 2 assists, 9 rebounds and 1 steal, and Hicks, 3 points and 4 rebounds. Timothy Brown had 1 steal.

No score or stats were available for the Lady Panthers.

LCMS hosted Summertown Monday, December 10. They will also host Mt. Pleasant Thursday, December 13. This will be the last game to be played until after the Christmas holidays.
