This apple and yogurt salad can be thrown together quickly and easily. What started as a simple recipe I saw online, has morphed to please my tastebuds, but that’s the beauty of this salad. It’s as beautiful and creative as you make it.
This recipe originally called for plain, non-fat yogurt, but I adjusted this ingredient to the Greek vanilla yogurt I prefer.
Top this treat with some fresh mint for a garnish. Enjoy!
Apple & Yogurt Salad
A handful of nuts, roasted or raw
2 apples, chopped
1 cup Celery, chopped
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or plain)
Honey (until your desired level of sweetness)
1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins
Pinch of cinnamon
Chop the apples and celery. Combine with other solid ingredients.
Mix the liquid ingredients together and gently toss in the salad. Enjoy!
