Twenty-five area high school students recently completed a two-week program at Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC) that provided them with insight about careers in health care.The 2017 Maury Academy for Students in Health (MASH) programwas held at MRMC June 5-16, 2017. MASH is an annual program sponsored by the medical center and its Auxiliary. The purpose is to provide high school students who are interested in health care careers with a hands-on learning experience that exposes them to a variety of professions. During the program, students visit numerous departments and participate in an emergency training exercise with physicians and staff members.
