Davis House Child Advocacy Center recently opened a new facility on East Swan Street across from Centerville City Hall in Centerville. Centerville Church of Christ’s Hope House held ribbon cutting on April 8. Children’s Advocacy Centers of Tennessee Executive Director Karen Jointer, Davis House’s DeAnna Darden-Carroll, Bro. Bryan McAlister, Youth Director Craig Shelton and Mayor Gary Jacobs were on hand for the ceremony. Last year, 89 children who live in Hickman County became clients of Davis House, requiring trips to Hohenwald or Franklin. Hope House brings abused children and their families together with investigators and those who can begin the healing process.
