William Paul Whitehead, age 86, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at Life Care Center in Centerville.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 9 in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home with Steve Holloway officiating. Burial will take place in the Grinders Creek Cemetery.
He was born May 16, 1932 in Lewis County, a son of the late Jesse James Whitehead and Edna Lou Riley Whitehead. He was a retired lead press operator.
Survivors include a son, Johnny Whitehead (Beverly); daughter, Paula Keeton (Ronnie), of Hohenwald; brother, David Whitehead of Hohenwald; sister, Ruby Nell Decker of Waynesboro; five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Neoma Elizabeth Whitehead; daughter, Kaye Whitehead; daughter-in-law, Nancy Whitehead; sisters, Anne Whitehead and Mabel Jean Whitehead; and granddaughter, Amanda Dye.
