    Jessie Elaine Tims, of Woodland Road, was recently charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse and child abuse or neglect to inflict injury. The offense date took place on August 10, 2021. She was booked into Lewis County Sheriff's Department on February 3, 2022 with a $50,000 bond. Her bond conditions are there be no minor children in the defendant's home, pending hearing.     In their first game the Lady Panthers faced the team from Deshler, Alabama. The two teams played a tight first half of the game as Deshler outscored Lewis County 4-3 and held the 1 point lead at the half. The second half was equally as close as the first, as the two teams played tough defense in a low scoring second half of play and Deshler held on to take a 7-6 win over Lewis County.     The Lewis County High School Lady Panthers and Panthers continued their District 10AA schedule travelling to Loretto to take on the Loretto Lady Mustangs and Mustangs on January 21st. The Lady Panthers took the floor against one of the top girls teams in the state, the Lady Mustangs, in the first game of the night.
