The rains of this past weekend took a toll on some of the fund-raising events in the town, especially the library fundraiser in Memorial Park that was due to introduce the new library extension to the public and show off the new designs and drawings. Lewis County Fire and Rescue were paged out after a single vehicle accident occurred on Napier Road, Tuesday, May 11, about 12:45 p.m. Patricia Galloway, 16, of Hohenwald, was travelling south on Napier Road when she lost control of the blue Saturn SUV she was driving. Well it is a beautiful morning here in our little valley. The cats have eaten, I’ve finished my coffee and I went for a little walk.
