    A single vehicle accident occurred on Thursday, February 25, when Dresden Barnes was driving his 2011 Nissan Sentra northbound on Waynesboro Highway and crossed over into the southbound lane. The vehicle then went into the ditch, struck a tree and rotated before coming to a stop, facing the roadway. State Trooper Tommy Bayless and Sgt.     March 01, 1951 The Old Black Joe Company asked local farmers to increase the amount of acreage allocated towards the production of green peas and tomatoes.
