    A couple of nights with early spring temperatures, nights in the thirties and days in the forties and low fifties.   • Ty Twist Presented with Diploma

    March 16 was a special day to celebrate LCHS Class of 2023 Graduate Ty Twist as he was presented his diploma. His family, friends, classmates, and teachers were in attendance to honor this special young man who will always hold a special place in the Lewis County Community. Ty was unable to be at his graduation in May 2023 after being diagnosed with a germinoma tumor on his brain in April 2023. He underwent several surgeries and chemotherapy....

    Hi I'm Ducky! I'm as sweet and lovable as they come but I do need a special person to adopt me. I came to the shelter right after my puppies were taken from me. Since then I've only been good around younger dogs. I'm very protective of them and will growl and bark at other dogs. THAT has gotten me into a couple of skirmishes and I've been the one hurt. You could say I act like I'm tough but I'm "all bark". I will do best in a home where I'm the only dog and I have my own person to take care of....

    A Hohenwald Community Health Fair will be held April 1 from 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Communtiy Building off Forrest Avenue. The event is sponsored by GEM Educational Program.
