Hope Hohenwald, Inc. has planned their Easter EGGstravaganza for Saturday, April 8 beginning at 1:00 p.m. It will be held at Lewis County Memorial Park, 101 Forrest Avenue. Hunt times are: 1:30 p.m. - 0-2 years old; 2:00 p.m. - 3-4 years old; 2:30 p.m. - 5-6 years old; 3:00 p.m. - 7-9 years old; and 3:30 p.m. - 10-11 years old. Kindergarten registration packets are available to pick up at the Lewis County Elementary School office. Instructions will be included. Winnie Black Aydelott, 93, of the Swan Creek Community, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the Ascension Saint Thomas Hickman Nursing Home. The Pilot Club of Hohenwald presented the "Brainminders" puppet show to the nine kindergarten classes of Lewis County Elementary on Tuesday March 21. The puppets teach students to wear helmets when riding bikes or skateboards, never talk to strangers, and reminded them of other safety issues.
