Covid-19 didn't stop this lovely couple from becoming newlyweds. Nicole Duncan and Jon Lavett exchanged vows on April 18, 2020 in the front yard of their home in Lawrenceburg. All family members were represented in some way during our ceremony ... the bouquet, the music, the dancing, our rings, the flowers, or the 'old, new, borrowed, blue'. It was the best day that we...
We have been thrown back into winter with temperatures in the thirties around the area and frost to many places, but maybe it will soon be warmer day and night at least a little, not ready for the eighties and nineties but fifties at night and upper sixties to seventies would be nice during the day. It is so you never know what to put on or carry if going somewhere of course that has been somewhat limited anyway with the quarantine in place. We have also had lots of rain and sometimes even getting the creeks up a little but rain is something...

You know what it’s like to have something taken away from you in a moment and as a result you will appreciate what you have when you have it. You’ll value your relationships, make the mos...
Murder hornets. (Not to be confused with their close relatives: accessory-to-murder hornets, involuntary-manslaughter hornets, justifiable-homicide hornets and turning-state’s-evidence hornets.) Killer hornets. Asian giant hornets. Or the more politically correct Continent Which Must Not Be Named giant hornets. The invasive insects go by a confusing array of names; but the New York Times, National Geographic, NBC News and other sources are warning Americans about the potential impact of their spread. A colony of murder hornets can wipe out a h...

If you asked me to name my favorite TV show of all time, I'm not sure I'd be able to narrow it down to one. But if you asked me to name my top five, I'm certain that Parks and Recreation would make the list. Created by Greg Daniels (known for his work on The Office and King of the Hill) and Michael Schur (co-creator of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Good Place), Parks and Rec originally ran for seven seasons from 2009 to 2015. But this past Thursday (at the time of writing), a reunion special...
A roughly 2-inch long insect known as the "murder hornet" has made its way to the U.S. for the first time ever, researchers said. Susan Cobey, bee breeder with Washington State University's Department of Entomology, told WSU Insider that the hornets are "like something out of...
