    In the reconvened session, held Tuesday, June 28, 2022, the County Commissioners discussed the final budget amendments for the 2021 fiscal year as the new fiscal year starts in July. County General Misc. For the County Mayor’s office, $1,100 was moved from the Fund Balance into the “Accountants” fund, $1.00 from the Fund Balance to the “Purchasing Personnel” fund, and $614 from the Fund Balance to the “Other Salaries & Wages” fund.     On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, the Lewis County Board of Commissioners met and voted unanimously to apply for a non-competitive $3,250,908 water infrastructure grant through the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. Once the grant is approved by the state, the county has agreed to award those funds to the City of Hohenwald, and collaborate with them on the infrastructure and asset management needs in our community.
