Hope Hohenwald, the youth program located on Park Avenue, is currently running a "Building Hope" campaign to raise funds for larger, much needed facility additions. On June 10, 2024, at approximately 10:57 p.m., City of Hohenwald Police Department Patrolman Kalum Halfacre was patrolling near 412 East Main Street and observed a white 2002 GMC Sierra truck with dark window tint. The 6th Annual Rock The Lot was a huge success, despite the extreme heat! Over 3,700 people came out to enjoy the event, including a family reunion and a class reunion of the 1977 LCHS Senior Class. An estimated 1,500 enjoyed the family activities prior to the concert, with an even larger number arriving as the sun began to set and the temperature cooled down. Well it is a nice morning here in our little valley. I am sitting on the front porch swing and there is a nice breeze blowing. It is not as hot as it has been.
