We are created equally, by the sperm and the egg! That’s it! Other beliefs are a myth we collectively chose to follow. Marsha Perkins 110 Quail Hollow Road Summertown, Tn 38462 931-796-0410...

Well it is a quiet and peaceful morning here in our little valley, I’m on the front porch and having my cup of coffee and just enjoying the quiet. Not many sounds this morning, the cats are napping, a squirrel just went across the yard with an apple. It is beginning to sprinkle rain but that doesn’t seem to bother the squirrel, it is busy stocking up apples to dry for the winter. I have canned some more, but not as much as I usually do. This seems to be more hotter and humid summer than usual. I guess it just bothers us older people more. But...

  • Tyrades! Have you been avoiding the dentist?

    Danny Tyree|Jul 22, 2021

Life is returning to normal; but where dental health is concerned, normal may not be good enough. According to a report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, even BEFORE the pandemic, one-third of American adults under 65 hadn’t had a dental exam or cleaning in more than a year. That is a disturbing statistic. If Annie was correct in singing, “You’re never fully dressed without a smile,” an awful lot of us are going commando. I’m not into floss-shaming; but I conscient...
