James Marvin Hickerson, Jr., 85, of Linden, passed away Tuesday July 25, 2023. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, in the Hickerson Cemetery on Hurricane Creek. Lewis County 4-H Day Camp at NACO was held June 21 & 22nd . We had great time with twenty-five campers, three teen volunteers, five adult leaders and three certified lifeguards in attendance. On day one Brad Culp with Soil Conservation came and instructed the children on proper fishing techniques. Each camper was provided with their very own fishing pole to take home. The Lewis County High School Class of 1968 held their 55th class reunion in Columbia. Twenty-six class members attended the event, as well as several spouses.
