    The Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems said deputies received a tip that a wanted man named David Doyle was hiding out at a home on Polk Street, in Linden, behind the City Hall. Chief Deputy Rosson assembled a team of officers on foot to surround the home. Deputy Alan Daniel found Doyle in a very confined space in the attic, where he had covered himself with insulation.     Paris, TN - Court documents say a 911 call led to the arrest of a Henry County man who allegedly covered the victims mouth and struck her with a Bible. According to police reports and court documents, on Tuesday, July 25, the Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call in the Buchanan community.     Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative presented the Lewis County Teacher of the Year Becky Stewart an award for her accomplishment during in-service at Lewis County High School on July 28th. Stewart has taught for 11 years and served as the RTI Coordinator for 3rd-5th grade at the time of the award. She has since been selected as the new principal at Lewis County Elementary School.     It is time to sign up girls who are interested in joining the Girl Scouts of Lewis County. The Girl Scouts have programs for girls from kindergarten age to high school girls. The meeting for girls in kindergarten through third grade will be Tuesday, August 8 at the Girl Scout building in Memorial Park at 4:00 pm. and will last about an hour.
