    The Lewis County High School Panthers football team travelled to Lyles on Friday night, September 3rd for action against the East Hickman Eagles. It was the Panthers defense that provided the first points of the night when Lincoln Brewer picked up an Eagle fumble and sprinted 50 yards for the scoop and score.     The Lewis County Middle School Panthers football team travelled to Scotts Hill on Thursday, September 2, 2021 for a matchup with the Scotts Hill Lions. The Panther offense got on-track early in the game when, only :22 seconds into the opening quarter, Micah Godfrey broke free on a 33-yard touchdown run.     The Lewis County Middle School Panthers football team travelled to Loretto on Saturday, September 4, 2021 for a matchup with the South Lawrence Stallions.     The Lewis County High School Panthers golf teams travelled to Lobelville to play in a match against Perry County and Hampshire at the Buffalo River Country Club on Thursday, September 2, 2021.     The Lewis County Middle School Panthers golf teams hosted teams from E.O. Coffman and Summertown at Hohenwald Municipal Golf Course on Wednesday, September 1st. In the boys’ match it was the E.O. Coffman team that came in first on the day with a team score of 92, with Summertown in second with a 96, and Lewis County finishing third with a 102.
