Well it is a beautiful Fall morning here in our little valley. October 07, 1954 The State Highway Department made a proposal to the City of Hohenwald, Lewis County Government, and Perry County Government to construct approximately 16 miles of Federal Aid highway from Park Avenue in Hohenwald to a point on Highway 100, 3 miles east of Linden.
