    On October 8, 2021 a wreck occured around midnight that claimed the life of a Lewis County man. Ethan Brewer, 23, was driving a 2007 Ford F-150 4 door. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, the vehicle was traveling east on US Highway 412 when the vehicle's right side tires went off of the curb into the grass (on Golf Course property) traveling parallel to the road several hundred yards.     The Lewis County BASS Nation High School/Junior Fishing Team competed in the first tournament of the 2021-22 season. The tournament took place on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Pickwick.
