    The Lewis County Board of Education met in a regular called session on Tuesday, October 12 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lewis County Board of Education Board Meeting Room located at 206 South Court Street. All board members were present: Chair Glenda Atkinson, Vice-Chair Johnny Clayton, Derek Cotham, Cassie Couch, Paula Dyer, Blake Farr, Lindsey Himes, Jackie Holt, and Phyllis Townsend.     Barry Churchwell, Stats The Lewis County High School Panthers football team travelled to Summertown for a Thursday night matchup with the Eagles on Thursday, October 21, 2021. The Panthers entered the game riding a six-game win streak, 7-1 in the season and 4-0 in Region 6AA. The Eagles, winners of three straight, entered with a record of 5-2 and 3-1 in Region 5AA. David Tohn place 15th overall and earned the fastest time for the boy's team with a 5k time of 20:33.     Maury Regional Medical Group (MRMG) announces the relocation of two primary care providers to the new MRMG Primary Care and Pediatrics practice in Columbia. Pinky Chugani, DO, and Andrew Nielsen, MD, are specialists in internal medicine and pediatrics who will see patients of all ages in the new location.
