Last Saturday I went to Columbia to the farmers market and the local bookstore. I stopped by Lowe’s to pick up some things for the house and garden. When I went to check out I looked for a cashier. There were none. There were only lines for “self checkout” in the entire store. I was very surprised. Then I felt sorry for the cashiers who had lost their jobs. Well it is a cool Fall morning here in our little valley. The colors of the trees have been so pretty, this year we have had a beautiful Fall. Four local wrestlers traveled to Clarksville on Sunday to compete in the Turkey Takedown, an annual wrestling event hosted by the Iron Knights Wrestling Club.
