The Lewis County Middle School Lady Panthers and Panthers traveled to East Hickman Middle School for the season-opening East Hickman Tip-Off Classic. The Classic was held from October 19th through October 21st. On Thursday, October 19th the Lady Panthers faced the Columbia Academy Lady Bulldogs in the opening round of the Tip-Off Classic. Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC) has been granted provisional designation as a Level IV Trauma Center by the Tennessee Department of Health after a recent onsite review. All trauma designations begin with a provisional status for one year. MRMC will submit a report and undergo another site visit after one year. The "Glitzy Adorable Dames" of Hohenwald attended the Red Hat Convention in Pidgeon Forge from November 9 through November 12, 2023. There were more than 270 Red Hatters attending. Judy Bryson of the 'Glitzy Adorable Dames' won the overall Christmas attire. "We are so proud of her," said a member.
