The Sunday afternoon march named "Enough is Enough" here in Hohenwald from Blondy Church down Swan Avenue across the 48 junction around the Court House to the City Parking Lot was a great success for all concerned, especially the coalition of local churches who actually made it happen. The main concerns from some of the marchers were that law enforcement is not doing enough to lower the drug crime rate and every day drug dealers are out on the town selling drugs to people with the Police...

    Evelyn 'E.T.' Trevathan, Contributing Writer|Nov 18, 2021

Well it is a beautiful cold morning here in our little valley. The cats have had their breakfast and a little warm milk and are now back in their beds. I am having my cup of hot coffee, I have got a good warm fire going in the old wood heating stove. I sure enjoy these cold winter mornings. I know it is still fall but it sure feels like an early winter morning. We got a little more of our Christmas decorations up. I love this time of year. I have got my turkey for Thanksgiving. There is some talk that we might not be able to get one because of...

    Dorothy Warf, Contributing Writer|Nov 18, 2021

We know that as we near the Thanksgiving holiday time of the year that it could be colder and even with some frozen precipitation. We will take what we get and be glad we are alive and can handle the things that come our way. Those I know of who are sick either at home, nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: G.Y. Bennett, Connie Bonner, L.C. Bowen, Dorothy...
