  • County Awarded $15,000 Grant for Correctional Officer Training and Equipment

    The State of Tennessee recently awarded Lewis County Government a $15,000 "TCI Training Equipment Grant". This grant is designed to help provide mandatory safety and defense training to Correctional Officers at the Jail, and to purchase equipment such as headgear, tasers, and radios.
