Twenty-seven year old Michael Bates, son of Kenneth Bates, was diagnosed with Abdominal Sarcoma. He was the only one working, as his wife, Kim, is seven months pregnant and keeps their young child as well. A 911 call went out at 1:40 p.m. on July 3, 2023, to a fall at Fall Hollow Falls on the Natchez Trace Parkway. Lewis County’s High Forest Humane Society will be at the Spring Hill PetSmart this Saturday, July 16 from 11:00 – 3:00 with dogs ready for adoption.
