Few creations manage to straddle the line between art, science, and entertainment quite like the humble pie. A gastronomic marvel, pies have been enchanting taste buds and sparking debates on the perfect crust-to-filling ratio for centuries. This timeless and meaningful culinary tradition of pie-making is never more prominent than on Thanksgiving Day. Simple crimped crust designs around the pie edge or architecturally intricate lattice work will adorn tables across America on Thanksgiving Day. The question every year is, who’s bringing the p...

Yes, professional party organizers are raking in megabucks for lavish festivities centered around the anniversary of a dog’s birth or some other canine milestone (the anniversary of the p...

We had to have a little heat on this morning, but we did not build a fire in the old wood heating stove. It was so dry that burn bans had been issued for the area. If you are going to be out for long periods of time, I suggest layering clothing and then if it gets warmer you can remove some. Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Margie Barber, Joyce Barnes, Colene Beasley, Lynn Brown, Linda Butler,...
