Well it is a quiet and peaceful morning here in our little valley, there is a light breeze blowing, the cats are napping and I’m enjoying my coffee. The days are getting warmer and it is getting daylight earlier in the mornings. I like the mornings. Seems we have more time now to get things done. Farmers are beginning to cut hay and people are working in their yards and gardens, making everything look so good. It won’t be long until it is canning time, I think there are still some of us that still can. Well, it seems things are beginning to...
Well it is a beautiful morning here in our little valley. The sunshine is warm and the cats have all eaten and got their baths and are now taking their cat naps. I’m having my coffee and enjoying the warm sunshine. The apples survived the cold spell and so did the blueberries. I will make apple butter and can blueberry juice for winter. I turned on the TV this morning to hear the weather, they said a great warming is coming late this week, I think maybe our little cold spells are over. Well it is a beautiful morning here in our little valley. The cats have eaten, I’ve finished my coffee and I went for a little walk. As I looked around at the trees and all of the beauty, I thanked God for it all. We are blessed. There are storms coming in later today. I’m praying for safety. Well it is a beautiful morning here in our little valley. I went out to feed the cats and the sun was shining and felt so warm, I just had to go back and get my coffee and sit in my rocking chair and enjoy the warm sunshine. While I was sitting there, the cats fininished their breakfast and were giving themselves a bath, and two birds came down right at my feet and ate the cats’ leftovers. I looked across the yard and into the neighbors’ field and the cows were grazing peacefully. Then I looked up at one of the bluest skies ever and then I loo...
Well it is a beautiful morning here in our little valley, a little cool but it is early spring and our days are getting warmer. I went out to feed the cats and I stopped and looked out across the yard, the pear trees are white as snow and under them are some beautiful yellow bushes and then there are the buttercups still in bloom. And then I looked up to see the prettiest blue sky and not a cloud anywhere. It was God painting a picture. The birds were singing and the doves were calling back and forth to each other. I stood there and felt the...
