Carlton Baxter

Carlton Mac Baxter, age 89 of Hohenwald, passed away December 21, 2019 at ACH Lewis County.

He was born in Lewis County to the late Luther and Lillian Dabbs Baxter on April 14, 1930. He began working at Dwyer Company in Michigan City, Indiana manufacturing parts that would be used in hospital settings.

On February 26, 1949, he married Julia Pace Baxter in Corenth, Mississippi. and began their family. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Danny Baxter and Kathy Brasfield; grandchildren, Rodney Brasfield, James Brasfield, Theresa Brasfield and Gregory Brasfield; and great grandchildren, Austin Brasfield and Jasmine Brasfield.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Baxter was preceded in death by his son, David Baxter.

A memorial service will be planned after the New year.
