Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Eddie Wilburn Ashworth, age 51 of Hohenwald, passed away at his home surrounded by family and friends on January 31, 2020.
Mr. Ashworth was born November 24, 1968 to the late Hollis and Dorothy Ashworth in Wyandotte, Michigan.
Eddie was also preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Williams of Hohenwald.
He worked in the Mill Room at Eaton Corporation and was also known to be active in training dogs.
Eddie enjoyed life to the fullest and never took a single second for granted. He loved sitting down and having conversations whether he knew you before or not, and because of this he never met a stranger. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting for the biggest deer or turkey, or hitting the water to catch some fish. If he wasn't hunting he could be seen enjoying a game of softball. He loved catching up on Nascar on weekends or attending a local dirt track to watch racing. He was truly a Tennessee native constantly showing his love for UT football. Even with all his life passions, nothing compared to his true pride and joy, his daughter Haley.
Along with his daughter, Haley Grace Ashworth, Mr. Ashworth is survived by a brother, Harold Edward Ashworth; ex-wife, Beverly Ashworth; several nieces and nephews and a host of close friends.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4 in the chapel of Adair Funeral and Cremation Services with Tim Williams officiating. Burial followed at Milan Cemetery in Centerville.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Lewis County Cancer Victims Fund.
