Cynthia Kay (Burns) Hinson, age 56 of Hohenwald, passed away February 10, 2020 at Perry Community Hospital.
She was born in Kansas City, Missiouri on January 4, 1964 to the late Joe and Doris Burns. On April 29, 1984, she married Ollie Lynn Hinson and they were married 36 years and raised two daughters and a son.
Mrs. Hinson lived her life for her family. It was said that her children and grandchildren were her true pride and joy of life. She had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing and would often listen to the Golden Oldies. On weekends, she would get together with her sisters for a game of cards and quality family time.
Along with her loving husband, Mrs. Hinson is survived by her daughters, Desiree and Dasha Hinson; a son, Dylan Hinson; grandchildren, Danni Ashley, Paisley and Mia Whitehead; a brother, Joe Burns; sisters, Debbie Threet, Joann Franks, Annette Clinton, Rhonda Lowrimorie, Patty Hickerson, Cheryl DePriest; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Marie Hinson.
Funeral service was conducted February 12, 2020 in the chapel of Adair Funeral and Cremation Services in Hohenwald with Jerry McDonald and James Rippeto officiating. Burial followed in the Hinson Cemetery in Perry County.
