ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATIONS

The Lewis County School System will accept applications for:

PARAPROFESSIONAL

(FORMER TITLE -EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT)

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Applicant is required to meet one of the following qualifications outlined in the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001/ESSA act of 2015.

• Completed at least two years of study at an institution

of higher education

• Have an associates or higher degree; or

• Must pass a test that demonstrates the competencies

outlined in No Child Left Behind. This test will be given upon
