Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
It has been a crazy year already. Due to the Covid-19, the ninth annual Ticked Off At Cancer Ride was delayed, but the committee continued to raise money for the Lewis County Cancer Victims Fund. “There are so many in our town that suffer from cancer and need our help,” a coordinator stated.
This year’s ride will be dedicated to Terry “Jump” Hensley and his wife, Debbie “MOB” Alexander. “We’ve lost both of these wonderful people in the last year to cancer. Terry ‘Jump’ Hensley passed on January 8, 2020, and Debbie ‘MOB’ Alexander passed on April 9, 2019. They were always there to help anyone in need. They had the biggest hearts full of love and care, and selflessness,” a spokesperson said.
Everyone is invited out to help raise money for the people of the community who suffer from cancer and need help paying for gas to go to doctors’ appointments and medications.
The Cancer Fund does not discriminate against anyone. Feel free to contact them if you are in need of assistance.
Kevin and Kim King will supply the food, Lewis and Clarke’s Restaurant and Hohenwald Billiards are hosting the ride. Also, Six Stroke Band will be providing entertainment.
