Bettye Ammons

Bettye Jane (Brown) Ammons of Hohenwald, passed from this life to her eternal home on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at the age of 92.

Born on October 3, 1927 to James and Ida Brown, Bettye lived a long and very full life on this earth. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Bettye was married to the love of her life and her best friend, Glen Ammons, for over 70 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for her father for many years until her and her husband bought the Ben Franklin Store. She then ran Ben Franklin until her retirement.
