Historical Society donates markers in memory of volunteers

Members of the Lewis County Historical Society assembled at the Wilhelm Telplatz Park on Maple Street at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2020 to unveil pavers engraved to honor the memory of Dolene Rogers and Tommy White. They both were long-time members of the Historical Society, lovers of history and very faithful museum volunteers. For over twenty years, they served in the capacity of treasurer of the Historical Society.

Through the years, as part of her volunteering at the museum, Dolene enjoyed portraying Mrs. Grinder in connection with the Meriwether Lewis story.
