Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative office lobbies have reopened after being closed since August 4 for thorough cleaning and COVID-19 social distancing precautions.
“As much as possible, we encourage members to allow us to serve them where they are, especially if they are sick. With options like online, our mobile app, and service requests and payments by phone, MLEC can provide the quality service our members deserve without them having to leave home,” says MLEC President and CEO Keith Carnahan. “If you need to come into the office, masks are optional at this time; however, we ask that you keep the number of people with you to a minimum and that you social distance in line.”
MLEC also asks guests using the drive-thru to alert the MLEC team member if they do not feel well, or have been in contact with someone who is sick, so that extra precautions can be taken. Kiosks and drop boxes are available at all locations during and after hours.
“For the health and safety of our members and employees, we will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and communicate any schedule changes,” says Carnahan.”
