LCMS Golf host Summertown

The Lewis County Middle School golf team hosted their first home match of the season on Monday, August 24, 2020 when the Summertown Eagles came to Hohenwald Municipal Golf Course.

In girl's play, Summertown's Bella McDonald shot a 19 and was low medalist. Lewis County's Abby Carroll had a 26 and Linley Harris shot a 34 on the day.

Summertown girls won the team matchup with a 39. Lewis County finished second with a 60.

In boys play, Lewis County's Brayden Whitlow was low medalist with a 22. Other scores for Lewis County golfers included Mason Owen with a 28, River Carroll with a 29, Bo Banks with a 33, and Ryder Ward with a 35.

Summertown won the boys team matchup with a 78. Lewis County finished second with a 79.

The middle school golfers were be back in action on Tuesday, August 25 when they hosted Whitthorne Middle at Hohenwald Municipal Golf Course.
