Lee Comer "L.C." Loveless, age 93 of Hohenwald, passed away from this earthly life and onto his eternal home on the evening of August 24, 2020 to be with his wife whom he missed so dearly along with his daughter and parents. He was born on November 12, 1926, in Hohenwald to the late Comer Loveless and Allie (Sisco) Loveless.
He lived on Swan Creek, where he and his wife, Mrs. Bonnie, raised their family. A minister of Christ, he served numerous congregations, most notably the Gordonsburg Church of Christ. He hosted numerous gospel meetings, performed countless baptisms, officiated numerous weddings, and with his work saved many souls. His love for God and the gospel was truly evident in the life that he lived - a legacy that will live forever. He was also a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his son, Danny (Debbie) Loveless; five grandchildren, Kim Carroll Buchanan, Bobby Lee Carroll, Andrea (Terrell) Yeiser, Niki (David) Baxter and Kristen Horton (Lance); 11 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Comer and Allie Loveless; wife, Bonnie (Riley) Loveless; daughter, Diane Loveless Smith; and sisters, Martha Nell Potts and Jo Ann Love Sisco.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 28 at the Salem Church of Christ with Joe Griner officiating. Burial followed in the Salem Church Cemetery.
McDonald Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
