Like most rural counties across Tennessee, Lewis County is always looking to utilize its natural resources for both its residents and tourists. And one of the most important natural resources we have here in our community is the beautiful Buffalo River.
In the fall of 2018, Lewis County Mayor Jonah Keltner was approached about applying for a Tourism Enhancement Grant by Chamber of Commerce Director Debbie Landers and Professional Consultant Bridget Jones.
