Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
The past several days and nights have been like fall with the day temperatures being in the upper seventies and low eighties and then the nights down in the forties and fifties. I guess, as some have said this past week, it is time for it to be like that. I thought we were not changing the time this year, but now the time is supposed to change on November 1. I guess it will whether we like it or not. It has been so foggy for a few days and nights that it is so damp you would think it was raining. We have had some rain, but not a lot at one time.

We express sympathy to the families of Clyde W. Sells, Clifford W. Leteure, Kevin Douglas Cummins, Betty Jane French, Wanda Gail Lomax, Nancy Jane West, and Hilda Colleen Willis Spears. Prayers for these families and any other families who have lost loved ones.
Prayers for our nation during this time when it seems the virus is taking more of a hold on the area and many have been hospitalized with the issue. We pray that this will soon go away and we can be back to our normal life and enjoy the things we used to do. For now, we just have to be careful and not go places where we can be infected with the virus. Prayers that you and your family will be okay and not be affected by the virus.
Many of the Halloween activities have been cancelled and lots of activities that would take place this week or weekend are changed. Hopefully, we will soon be back to some stage of normal and able to be together again with friends and relatives.
Our prayers are that you and your family will have happiness and health during the coming days. This year will soon be drawing to a close as next week will be November and then will come December to finish out the year. It doesn’t seem that this is possible as it seems like only yesterday that it was January and a new year was there for our enjoyment. We have not had a really great year with the virus taking such a hold and keeping many people away from places that they enjoy being, such as church, sporting events and even vacations they planned to take and other things they love to do. Praying that the end of the year will be better than it has been for the past several months.
I pray that God will bless and keep you and yours through the remainder of the year and bless you with happiness and health.
