Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Jimmy Trull, 71, of Linden passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at Perry Community Hospital.
He was born in Linden to the late Edward Allen Trull and Mary Dean Rainey Trull. He was a member of the Linden Church of Christ. Jimmy graduated from Perry County High School, Class of 1968, and was very proud to be able to walk down the aisle at the gym for graduation since he had been on homebound schooling. He loved music and singing and also had a very sharp mind, always remembering everyone he ever met.
Jimmy loved politics and was very fortunate to have been friends with Edward Bailey, his State Representative. He got to go to the State Capitol, meet with Edward and have his picture made with him on the steps of the State Capitol. He got a very special surprise that day as he got to meet the State Governor at the time, Winfield Dunn. This was a very special day for Jimmy! He also loved sitting at the coffee shops drinking coffee and talking politics. Jimmy just loved everyone and especially talking to them.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother Bill Trull; a niece, Shayna Trull; and a great-niece, Aryia Jaid Stutts.
Survivors include his sisters, Jane (Larry) Davis of Wildersville and Rose Ann (Don) Deere of Lexington; nephews, Jeff (Jodel) Denton, Justin (Carla) Deere, Brandon (Mecca) Deere and Dillon Trull; nieces, Reginia (Rick) Edwards, Marcy (Jimmy) Miller and Abby (Joel) Gray; 9 great-nephews, 10 great-nieces, 4 great-great nephews, 6 great-great-nieces and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.
