Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Linda Kay Kelley went to be with our Lord and Savior on the morning of November 13, 2020 while surrounded by family at the age of 57.
She was born July 9, 1963 in Lawrenceburg to Betty Odean Creekmore Byrd and the late William Carl Byrd.
On April 23, 1987, she married Michael Dee Kelley and together they raised two wonderful children, Johnathan and Kayla.
Mrs. Kelley enjoyed taking walks outside, putting together puzzles, and meeting up with family for a game of disc golf. She filled every facet of her life with love and compassion. Linda was a nurse practitioner for Quality First Home Health and Compassus Hospice. Her patients would often say she had a heart of gold. She cared deeply for each patient she was blessed to help. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister and would do anything she could for those she loved. Being a devout Christian, her faith in the Lord never wavered and she was ready to be called home to Him.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Finas and Maime Gray Creekmore.
Along with her mother and husband, Linda is survived by her children, Johnathan Michael (Jennifer Lynne) Kelley and Kayla Diane (Lee Adam) Brooks; a grandson, Titus Lee Brooks; a soon to be arriving grandson, Owen Michael Kelley; and siblings, William Carl Byrd Jr., Naomi Joan (Jeff) Nelson, Michael Ray (Sharon) Byrd, Ricky Gene (Liana) Byrd, and David Allen (Miranda) Byrd.
A memorial will be held at First Baptist Church in Saint Joseph on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with a service to follow.
Adair Funeral and Cremation Services assisted the family with arrangements.
