You are something to gobble about!

It's a good thing turkeys are not in season! The friendliest turkey was spotted at AHC Lewis County on Monday morning, gobbling and waddling.

Ashley Heath, Barbara Hinson and Annette Peery all accompanied little Mable Anne Heath, and offered her the occasional leg-up so that she could see into the windows.

Wild turkeys possess powerful legs that propel them to speeds of 25 miles per hour, and Mable Anne was no exception as she raced around to give residents some holiday cheer.

Her mom played "I am a Turkey Bird" by Heywood Banks as Mable Anne danced around the parking lot.

When congratulated on Mable Anne being recognized as a local celebrity for spreading smiles, Heath responded, "It's not the recognition. It's the invigorating feeling inside when you see others smile and are so happy over the little shining light you made. I'm just in awe that I made that! I made that amazing tiny human that's brightening so many lives!"

So here's to spreading smiles this Thanksgiving and wishing you all something to gobble about. Happy Thanksgiving!
