Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Amanda Beth Ayers, age 28, stepped into Heaven on November 11, 2020 after a hard fought battle with Covid-19 at Tri-Star Centennial Hospital.
Amanda was born in Houston, Texas on Friday, June 13, 1992 to Keith and Cindy (Morrow) Ayers.
Amanda marched to the beat of her own drummer. She loved walks on the beach and collecting seashells for days. She loved animals and reading and collecting all kinds of interesting, albeit random, things. She loved her family and her church family, General Assembly Church in Hohenwald, where she grew up. Amanda was an amazing artist and received many awards for graphic design from Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
Along with her parents, Amanda is survived by her two biological sisters, Sarah Anne Swinea and Mariah Joy Green; her adopted sister, Elizabeth Michelle Thorne; paternal grandmother, Roxanne Ayers; maternal grandmother, Sheila Cunningham; step-grandmother, Sheila Morrow and step-grandfather, Leonard Cunningham. Amanda also had two brothers-in-law, Spencer Green and Zachary Swinea and five nieces and nephews, Lilly Faith, Lexie Grace, Bentley Daniel, Markus Keith and Graycee Rae.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Grady Ayers and maternal grandfather, Johnny Morrow.
A memorial service was held Sunday, November 15, 2020 at General Assembly Church, officiated by Pastor Debbie Landers. The service was live-streamed via Facebook on the church's page if you missed the service and would like to view it.
Adair Funeral and Cremation Services assisted the family with arrangements.
