Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Tony "Da" Lee Carroll unexpectantly passed away on November 30, 2020 at the age of 57.
He was born in Hickman County on June 8, 1963 to Herman and Fay White Carroll.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Irene Rodan and Leonard and Mamie Carroll.
Tony was a man with many names, most knew him by Cojack and Da. He had a heart of gold and would go out of his way just to see how your day was going. He would often tell people he met that his name stood for Tender Loving Care (T.L.C.). He could always put a smile on your face with his quick wit and humor. Da enjoyed heading to the river for fishing and relaxing or saddling up for a horse ride. When he had nothing on his agenda, he enjoyed hitting the backroads for a drive with no destination in mind. He was a selfless gentleman that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
Along with his parents, Tony is survived by his step-children Christina (Nathan) Bean and Crystal (Justin) Reeves; a son, Max Black; grandchildren, Adyson Bean, Braylon Bean, Ashton Brackeen, Elais Reeves, Ike Reeves, and Lennox Black; siblings, Dale Carroll, Carrie (Kenny) Kilpatrick, and Tim (Connie) Carroll; nieces and nephews, Michael (Jenny) Carroll, B.J. Carroll, Stony Kilpatrick, Chris (Sandie) Carroll, Charlotte (Johnathan "Bub") Warren, and Tabitha (Miles) Staggs; and a host of great nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Carroll also leaves behind his German Shepard fur baby, Bullet.
Funeral service was held Friday, December 4 with Jason Keiser officiating. Burial followed at Twin Oaks Cemetery in Hohenwald.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to help offset funeral expenses.
